Please note some of you have received 2 copies of this and I apologize on behalf of our delivery pigeon. It seems he only had enough energy to reach a few of you. So we’ve fed him with some gluten-free food and belly full of kombucha and now he’s fulfilled his duties. We’ll be sure to give him his full meal before we send him out next time ;)

Welcome to our first newsletter!! You are receiving this email because you either signed up at Purple Carrot or with Cris Robinson in the past. We promise not to bombard you with excessive emails. Our monthly newsletter will be chalk-full of what’s happening in the store, new products, and perhaps we will share a recipe or piece of amazing health advice that will change your life. If it’s been a while since your visit to Purple Carrot, we’d love to see you come back!
Oil and Vinegar for the Kitchen
We are now carrying 16 different incredible infused Extra Virgin Olive Oils and Balsamic Vinegars. These amazing oils are imported by Blue Door Oil and Vinegar from Calgary. They have sought out the most delicious oils and vinegar that you can use for salad dressings, low heat cooking, drizzling on snacks or just eating right off the spoon. We love grapefruit balsamic vinegar in soda water as a light refreshing drink. The strawberry is also great…and the raspberry…and the cranberry-pear.
Bring your empties
Our Kombucha bar featuring Steep Peak Tea Kombucha is a big hit. We add new flavors every few days, so visit regularly and see what’s new on Tap. Don’t forget to bring in your growler bottle or empty container if you have one!!

We are also expanding our dry bulk items. In addition to our 27 organic, non-gluten bulk foods we currently carry, we are bringing in bulk loose organic herbs, spices, and teas!! Bring in your reusable bags and empty containers!!
Ragin’ Mondays
Raging Baker Gluten Free and Dairy Free baked goods come in fresh on Monday’s. Her gluten free and dairy free pumpkin pie was a HUGE hit for Thanksgiving. If you would like to reserve your pie for Christmas, please call us at 403-942-0896.
Super Awesome Alternatives!
As per usual, we have an awesome dairy free, gluten free and vegan options. We will be getting in more Gardein Vegan Turkey Roasts before Christmas. We do have Tofurky in stock currently. We will post on Facebook when we receive our next order of Gardein. If you would like to reserve your Vegan Turkey, please call us at 403-942-0896 and we will keep one aside for you.
Shop Local Saturday
The last Saturday of every month is SHOP LOCAL SATURDAY!!! There are always awesome samples, giveaways and 10% off everything in the store. This upcoming Saturday, October 28th is our next Shop Local Saturday. We have Mountain High Matcha coming in to sample their awesome green tea and Pure Creations will be there with their beautiful skincare line. We also have The Collectors in-store selling handmade bears, blankets, and toques to raise money for local charities.
