 For our 20th wedding anniversary, we wanted to do something special for a trip. Our first great decision was to go to Spain in July. Our second great decision was to have Tracy at Inspired Vacations make the arrangements for us. Certain main highlights were a must, but otherwise, we wanted to be able to find our way through Spain ourselves. Tracy talked with us to get a sense of what was important to us and then crafted an itinerary for us. It started with the bulls and bullfights of Pamplona and ended with the beauty and vibrancy of Barcelona – and all along the way, amazing adventures and hidden gems, from the Rioja wine region, to the grandeur of Madrid, to the wonder of Toledo and its strands of history spanning centuries, and others besides! She made sure that our travels were never too lengthy, always included fascinating stops, and gave us deliberate and relaxing pauses (almost as though she had read our minds in advance) so that we could savour certain experiences and places; to me, I’ll always remember not only the stark beauty of medieval Alarcón but also the chance it gave us to recharge (do go ahead and Google Alarcón, and tell me that you don’t want to see that!) Our anniversary trip gave us memories that we will always treasure. We highly recommend Spain as a tourist destination because it is rich with history and traditions, infused with passion and graced with incredible beauty. Tracy definitely helped us get the most out of our trip, and we can’t thank her enough. I often tell people about our trip to Spain, and I always make sure to tell them that if they’re thinking of booking a trip, they should consider using Tracy at Inspired Vacations. The reality is that anyone with a computer and a credit card can book travel arrangements, but not everyone can book a travel experience. At the end of the day – even though Tracy’s recommendations and arrangements were always spot-on – the best part of having Tracy book the trip was that we never had to worry about or waste time deciding where we needed to be or what we were going to be doing; instead, we were able to enjoy our time together in celebration of our anniversary.
