Hello folks: October 1st. Sad day for sure. I am sure glad that once we finally got open this year we had some great weather as it appears with this cold we aren’t going to get an abundance of October play.
As of today we’ll start adjusting hours a little bit just based on daylight and demand. The clubhouse will be open about 30 minutes before the first tee time to grab a coffee, toast, etc. The kitchen hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the week and we’ll open it at 8:30 a.m. on the two weekends remaining. Hopefully we can get a few additional rounds in before the tarps go on.
We sent out statements to the end of September this morning. On each of your statements there is a note that relates to the $200 annual food and beverage amount. If your food and beverage purchases are already $200 then it will show up as $0. If there is an amount still yet to be spent then that amount will show up on the statement.
It looks as though most have already surpassed that amount so thank you very much. As I said in my last correspondence, Lori and Tammy and their teams do a great job and we will continue to find ways to improve the experience as best we can. There have certainly been some blips in the system which I will be the first to take responsibility for as I continue to learn but I think overall the food and beverage experience provided has been very consistent and very good.
If you need any further information about statements by all means contact Lynn or myself. I graciously ask everyone to clear up your accounts by the end of October as that is the club’s fiscal year end and we’d like to keep things as clean as possible entering the winter months. As you know payments can be made on line, in the office, over the phone, in the golf shop or by e-transfer as we are trying to make it as convenient as possible.
