JUNIOR PROGRAM UPDATE - APRIL 30TH 2018
Good Afternoon Everyone,
After a long, and hard fought battle with Jack Frost, it seems we’ve finally come through the other side of it, and we’re due for a little summer weather now!
I just wanted to provide an update for everyone, to ensure that we are on the same page going forward.
Juniors in the SNAG Program:
- First day in the May session is on Thursday, May 10th
- Session starts at 4:30pm, goes until 5:15pm
- No equipment required! Students just need to be wearing closed-toed runners/sneakers
Juniors in the Three-Hole Program:
- First date in the spring session is on Monday, May 7th
- First date in the summer session is on Monday, July 9th
- The lessons for all sessions start at 4:00pm – Students will be on the golf course by 4:40pm, and will be finished by 5:30pm.
- Each student will receive a US Kids Golf Level 1 Booklet, which contains the material we will be teaching during the lessons. Each booklet contains both the instruction portion of the lesson, as well as the tests students will need to perform in order to advance to the 2nd level (9-hole program – Level 2 Tees)
Juniors in the 9-Hole Program:
- First date in the spring session is on Sunday, May 6th
- First date in the summer session is on Sunday, July 8th
- Lessons start at 2:15pm – Tee Times begin at 2:45pm
- Each student will receive a US Kids Golf Level 1 Booklet, which contains the material we will be teaching during the lessons. Each booklet contains both the instruction portion of the lesson, as well as the tests students will need to perform in order to advance to the 3rd level (9-hole program – Red/Gold Combo Tees, or Gold Tees)
- NOTE: The first nine hole day will be delayed by one hour due to the rescheduling of the President’s scramble. Lesson will start at 3:15, Tee times will start at 3:45.
Last but not Least:
Please ensure that your junior arrives at least 10 minutes before their scheduled lesson time, just so that we can be organized and begin the lesson on time.
Unlike last year, we won’t be asking you to e-mail us in advance to let us know if your child will be attending. Although we will still appreciate you letting us know if your child won’t be attending for any reason!
There are still a few spots available in all of our junior golf programs – If you have not signed your child up yet, please do so at your earliest convenience to avoid disappointment!
