Hello:

I hope everyone is having a great weekend.  I’ve attached two files below.  The first is the AGM agenda, committee reports and President’s message,  the second is the financial package for your review.

I just want to remind you all that the AGM is Monday, January 15th at 7 p.m. here at the golf club.

We have enjoyed a very active first week in January and it’s been great having some conversations with members about the upcoming year. 

Over my 20 or so years in the golf business, people have often asked me why I chose to be in this business.  The answer has never changed and it is always the genuine truth.  The business chose me and I don't think I was more than 10 minutes into my first shift cleaning clubs for Mr. Lowe that I realized that I really loved it (despite developing webbed fingers from 300 sets a day) because I got to deal with people at the place they most wanted to be. 

Twenty six years later this is still true. We all grind it out and live our lives, do our jobs, raise our kids, etc. When we get to go play this crazy game with the people we enjoy, that's what it is all about.  Human connection is the only commodity of value and that is the number one product we sell here at Henderson Lake or any golf club for that matter.

I understand this has been an interesting few months with all the changes, but this club, culture and everything that has made it great for 100 years still exist and always will.
