HLGC Centennial Event – July 8

The committee reviewed all that was previously discussed and it was concluded that since we don’t have the certainty of the outside funding that we would have the following:

1. Golf Tournament – Shotgun start 9:00 am
2. Wine and cheese, app's following tournament
3. President to welcome our guests and give a presentation – our relationship with the city etc.
4. Club History by H. Lisowicz and R. Morrice
5. Presentations to the 60 plus members and to the 50 plus members
6. Hole in one – 5K on each of the four par 3s.
7. Closing comments

• Cost to participants (except guests-60 plus members) $25.00
• There will be specials at the snack shacks during the day. 
  Members register at the office, please. Registration will close on June 23 or once we have reached 144 registrations whichever comes first.

Centennial BAG Tags

The Club in celebration of the 100^th Anniversary has purchased metal member bag tags in 2017. If you haven’t picked up your members’ tag please do so as soon as possible. It is a little disheartening to see a number of members who have not picked up their tags to date.

Online Payments

The Club has recently upgraded our banking solutions and will agree to accept online payments. Two acceptable scenarios are present. One is an email transfer in which you would email an amount in which you would like to make payment. Our email is hlgcgolf@gmail.com and please use the password, Henderson.
Our other option is Pre-Authorized Debit Plan. You, the member must sign an agreement form to be kept on file with the HLGC office. The Club needs a minimum of 25 members to make this work. The agreement document will work in which we will debit your account on the 25^th of each month. Example May statement account is $95.00, the Club will debit your account $95.00 on June 25. The reason we do this on the 25^th of each month is to give the members at least 10 days after month end to peruse your individual account for errors or omissions.  We were asked to implement the possibilities of online payments and the Club feels these are your best two options. The Club would also extend a payment plan in which is both feasible for the members and the Club. Please contact the office as soon as possible if you wish to do so.
We did receive a few email transfers and only 5 members have yet to come to the office to prepare the PAD (Pre-Authorized Debit Agreement). We are hoping that you find these options acceptable to the requests that the Club has received about paying accounts without coming to the office.

Your account is still accessible from the website through the online booking page.
-go to the website www.hendersonlakegolf.com
-click on “book a tee time”
-sign in as a member
-to the left of the “Book a tee time”, you’ll see “Menu”
-Once you click “Menu” you will have all the options from before
-Click “My Account” and select “Reports”  - you can now see the recent activity as well.

 HLGC Scramble Postponed – September 30 – October 1

 There was some demand about revisiting or implementing another HLGC scramble.  We would like to reschedule a three-man scramble for September 30 and October 1. Our proposal would be 4 flights with buy-ins. Four flights will be determined by handicaps of low 2 individuals. Open flight – any three players, First flight 12 or greater, Second Flight 20 or greater and Third flight 28 or greater. Buy-in would be Open - $1000, First - $800, Second - $600 and Third - $400  Payouts will be 50/30/20.
