Let me know if you have any further questions.
Online Payments
The Club has recently upgraded our banking solutions and will agree to accept online payments. Two acceptable scenarios are present. One is an email transfer in which you would email an amount in which you would like to make payment. Our email is
hlgcgolf@gmail.com and please use the password,
Henderson.
Our other option is Pre-Authorized Debit Plan. You, the member must sign an agreement form to be kept on file with the HLGC office. The Club needs a minimum of 25 members to make this work. The agreement document will work in which we will debit your account on the 25
th of each month. Example April statement account is $95.00, the Club will debit your account $95.00 on May 25. The reason we do this on the 25
th of each month is to give the members at least 10 days after month end to peruse your individual account for errors or omissions. We were asked to implement the possibilities of online payments and the Club feels these are your best two options. The Club would also extend a payment plan in which is both feasible for the members and the Club. Please contact the office as soon as possible if you wish to do so.
We did receive three email transfers and no one has yet to come to the office to prepare the PAD (Pre-Authorized Debit Agreement). We are hoping that you find these options acceptable to the requests that the Club has received about paying accounts without coming to the office.
Hole 13
Next Tuesday, May 23
rd and Wednesday, May 24
th the 13
th Hole will play as a par 3. The Ground screw with the aid of Correctional Services workers will be repairing a drainage line along the practice green out along the 13
th fairway approximately 600 ft. This line is blocked and for safety reasons, we will play the 13
th hole as a par 3 from approximately 175 yds. We are sorry for any inconvenience however, this will only effect the morning tee times the 13
th hole will be in play after grounds crew work schedule.
Question of the Week
We will like to invite all our members and patrons the opportunity to ask a question that you feel is important for you to have a better understanding i.e. reasons why we do certain things if you are not aware of any policies and you would like better justification. The Club will answer or pick one question per week and give a better explanation than the rumors that might be prevalent.
Chinook Classic
If you are not aware the Chinook Classic is this weekend. There is not a lot of tournaments left, that include 54 hole stroke play. The Club added a Senior and Super Division due to requests from our patrons the last couple of years and would appreciate more participation. The weather is usually a culprit of the late signing, however, the forecast is 20 degrees all three days so lets’ sign up immediately and see a full field of 144 players. We still offer a steak dinner, horse race on Sunday and 54 holes weather permitting.
We look forward to seeing you at the club,
Michael Plouffe
General Manager
